The Crystal Creek Meadows Bush Poem Award
This years theme "Why the past matters"
This theme has been chosen to encourage us to reflect on and appreciate the way of life of lovely rural communities, their quaint buildings, their self sufficiency, the stoic witty characters and aboriginal heritage that makes rural Australia so very special. Understanding the past helps us think where we are today and where we want to go.
We sponsor the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival Bush Poetry Competition as part of our sustainability principles as a responsible accommodation provider.
The winner receives two nights accommodation in one of our private cottages for two person (mid week no in school holidays).
We would like permission to publish the winning entry and others in our little book given to guests when they come to stay.
To enter send your poem click on the link below. Closing date 14th September...good luck!
