As part of your Kangaroo Valley holiday you can plant a tree at Crystal Creek Meadows farm and take part in the regeneration of this coastal hinterland that was originally cleared.
Christopher and Sophie will select a native Australian tree species suitable for the local NSW South Coast region and plant it with you. Your seedling will one day grow to provide important habitat for the local Australian wildlife of sugar guilders, kookaburras, possums, bandicoots, wombats and more.
It’s a great opportunity to put something back and learn a little more about the natural wonders of Kangaroo Valley. The $3.50 charge covers seedling, protective bag and stakes. Guests receive a certificate and their conservation tree is recorded in a log. The local school children come to audit the trees and measure their growth. So the kids also get to learn from practical experience.
