Crystal Creek Meadows recognises that the original exotic gardens are not in harmony with the need to protect Australia’s unique biodiversity. For this reason they have dedicated the majority of the
property to the rehabilitation of the original cleared land for cattle grazing and the regeneration of wetlands. The results are now a wonderland for you to enjoy as the Australian wildlife has returned.
Where there was cleared land now there are native trees and nectar shrubs with kookaburra and Willie Wagtails (more about birdlife and wildlife below). Where there was a drainage ditch there now are ponds and plenty of frogs to hear and swamp hens to see.
