See the migrating whales along the South Coast and Jervis Bay
The migrating whales come up the South Coast during June-July and carve in the warmer winter waters of northern NSW/Queensland before returning with their carve August-October back along the South Coast and to Antarctic waters.
This wonder of nature is a magnificent thing to see. Take a cruise boat for 2-3 hours from Huskisson and see the whales close up. Or take a picnic and go the the headlands that your hosts can recommend and make a day of it. You can also visit Boderee National Park or enjoy the markets at Huskisson, Pyree, Sanctuary Point, Berry or Shoalhaven Heads.
