Creating your characterful luxury eco cottage at Crystal Creek Meadows involved several environmental steps. The end result has been to create accommodation with modern comforts that is visually in keeping with the original timber housing found in Kangaroo Valley and eco friendly.
Development involved ensuring there was very little excavation for foundations with topsoil protected. Locally sourced materials were used, like the steel roofing ( produced in Nowra and Wollongong) and timbers secured form economically sustainable sources.
Since 2007 Crystal Creek Meadows has required all contractors to use Renewable Electricity and to sort waste in to recyclable, green waste and landfill. Thus cutting waste to landfill. Recyclable materials have been used in the renovation of Rose Garden Cottage in 2008.
All well insultating the cottages are lare also ocated on separate sites around the property so you enjoy quiet, comfortable accommodation with great views of nature and maximum privacy.
By setting the cottages apart, Crystal Creek Meadows has also maintained the rural scenic qualities of the district.
