World Responsible Tourism Day 2011

To celebrate World Responsible Tourism Day we hosted a group of high achieving science high school students to learn more about the practical application of mitigation and adaptation policies and the role of conservation.

The children calculated our carbon footprint, had a conservation tour and discussion on sustainability, and also planted trees.

Say Hello to our University Exchange Student

We are thrilled to have Laura Green, a Tourism student from Leeds Met Uni, England, staying with us for a year.

Laura is here as part of her course, and is enjoying being part of the team and family. Her placement involves all aspects of working at Crystal Creek Meadows, and she is particularly interested in sustainable tourism. We wish her all the best.
