Yarrawa Estate is an award winning South Coast NSW vineyard located in the upper reaches of Kangaroo Valley overlooking the escarpment. It was established in this area of great scenic beauty in 2003 by Mark and Sue Foster.
The vineyard benefits from a temperate climate and rich soils with a volcanic and alluvial history - a vigneron's delight. Yarrawa Estate is part of Cabbage Tree Farm and also offers farm tours - by appointment only - where the visitor can observe macadamia, walnut, pecan and Japanese raisin trees as well as a large citrus grove. Farm produce is available for purchase in-season.
You can taste the Estate's award winning wines in a relaxed and scenic environment. Tastings are complemented with lcoal cheeses and Estate grown and made jams, pickles, chutneys and other preserves.
The wines on offer include Chambourcin, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillion, Jasmin Grace, Limoncello and Walnut Sweet Wine.
Yarrawa Estate uses organic fertilizers, recycle wine boxes for fruit sales They are powered by 56 solar panels and solar hot water. They have planted of 6,000 native trees and support Noah's Ark, Westmead Children's Hospital and the local pre-school fund raisers. Yarrawa has a buy local policy
